are operated as slaves by modular systems and linked with them
accordingly, i.e. these compact systems cannot be used as independent devices. The compact systems
login via the communication unit (KE) of the modular system the same way as with the control unit (SE)
of the modular system.
They differ from compact systems operated self-dependently in the following aspects:
• There a variants with display to connect ErgoSpin hand-held nutrunners or tightening spindles, but
non with TFT.
• The slot for the use of type A interface modules does not exist.
• Neither the DVI interface nor the Ethernet-interface do exist.
• There is no integrated logic (IL) on the compact system.
• There are no data services on the CS351...-D NK. However, it is possible to connect a scanner.
The reason for missing interfaces, IL, and data services is that these functions are integrated into the KE
of the modular system.
The CS351...-D NK compact systems may be operated as single-channel or as part of a tightening
application. Then, the compact system is displayed as further channel in the channel selection list of the
operating system BS350.
Special feature CS351...-G+ with integrated computer unit
CS351...-G+ compact systems are equipped with a large color TFT display (VGA 640x480) with
integrated touchscreen, integrated logic compliant with IEC 61131-3., and integrated computer unit
The external interfaces of the integrated computer unit are arranged inside the front cover below slot B1.
