Mains voltages
The BT356 card rack field has been designed for 230 V nominal voltage. The SB356 system box has
been designed for a nominal voltage of 380 V to 500 V (400 V at factory):
We recommend using autotransformers, as long as this is not forbidden by any other guidelines. Select
the transformer performance so that all of the card rack fields in a tightening cell can be powered up
together.
Power supply connected loads of card rack fields/system boxes partially equipped with tightening channels
If the card rack fields/system boxes are not fully equipped, the mains connected load can be configured
in accordance with the following tables.

A transformer is always necessary if a BT356 is connected to an industrial network
(see also figure 4–29).
All three mains phases must be connected with a mains balanced to earth.
