4 Sync Overhead Monitors
OVERVIEW
The Brunswick Sync scoring system is capable of providing both high denition scorer and TV video
to the LED overhead monitors. The system also provides the ability to turn the overhead monitors on/
off and switch the monitors between the scoresheet and TV video through either the control desk or by
using the remote control that comes with the monitors.
An interface box called a Display Controller receives scoring information through an Ethernet network
connection and provides the high denition scorer video and monitor control signals for the monitor.
Optional high denition TV video is provided to the overhead screens through coaxial cables originated
at the TV distribution center (Head Unit). Refer to gures titled Sync System Video and Sync System -
Overhead Monitor Control.
