Sync Control System 39
TV VIDEO DISTRIBUTION
The TV video distribution system works similar to a typical cable tv system. A distribution center
typically located at the control desk takes the audio/video from each source and assigns a unique “TV
channel” to each of them, then combines the channels onto a single coax cable. From there, the coax
cable is distributed to the display monitors in the center. To view a particular source, the user simply
selects the desired channel to show the contents of that channel. The system can connect to any number
of monitors or bowling center size, up to 96 lanes. Refer to the gure titled Sync TV Video Cabling.
The system can distribute any combination of HD signals (1080p, 1080i, and 720p ) and SD (Standard
Denition) signals, 480P and 480i. The system can mix digital video signals (1080p, 1080i, 720p, 480p,
and 480i) and analog video signals (480i only).
