SD Modulator
The Standard Denition modulator is can handle composite video sources with video resolutions of
up to 480i and accept the associated mono analog audio. The ED modulator is factory congured to a
specic channel and adjusted for optimum output. Refer to the gure titled SD Modulator.

SD Modulator
The functions of the components and connectors on the SD modulator are:
(1) Modulation Level - Audio and video modulation level adjustment. This level is preset at the
factory and should not be altered.
(2) Channel Selection - Press the UP/DN buttons until the desired channel that will be assigned to
the input signal is displayed. The +100 indicator will light when channel settings are 100-125.
(3) Output Level Adjustment - Adjustment used to set the RF signal level sent out of the unit.
This level is preset at the factory and should not be altered.
(4) Video In - Input connection for the composite video originating from the A/V source.
(5) Audio In - Input connection for the analog audio originating from the A/V source.
(6) Power - Input power connection.
(7) Coax Out - Coax cable output for channel encoded audio/video signal.
