The table that follows identifies the commands comprising the CDM/R-570AL main menu, and the
content section in this manual where explicit information may be referenced, either in this chapter
or in Chapter 6. FRONT PANEL OPERATION:
Use to fully configure the modem and the ODU.
Used to monitor the alarm status of the modem and the ODU, to view the log of
stored events, and to display the Receive Parameters screen.
Used to invoke one of several test modes (loopbacks, for example).
(Information) Used to view information on the modem, without having to go into
configuration screens.
Used to save (store) and to load (retrieve) up to 10 different modem
configurations.
(Utility) Used to perform miscellaneous functions, such as setting the real-time
clock, adjusting the display brightness, etc.
For ODU operation, use the ◄ ► arrow keys to select Config or Monitor, and then press
ENTER.

For ODU operations, use the ◄ ► arrow keys to select Msk or ODU, and then press ENTER.

For ODU operations, use the ◄ ► arrow keys to select BUC or LNB, and then press ENTER.

BUC Alarm:
Active Masked (◄ ►,ENT)
Use the ◄ ► arrow keys to select Active or Masked, and then press ENTER. By selecting
Masked, no alarm will be generated.
