Operation
When changing from Volume Control or Pressure
Control to Pressure Support, the suggested value
for
ΔPPS is either the last used value or the site
default value.
When changing from Volume Control or Pressure
Control to Pressure Support, the suggested value
for Trigger is either the last used value or the site
default value.
When switching between Volume Control mode
and SIMV/PS mode, the P
MAX and PEEP settings
shall automatically be transferred from the previous
mode to the new mode.
When switching from Pressure Support mode to
SIMV/PS mode, the
ΔPPS, Insp Flow, Trigger, and
PEEP settings shall automatically be transferred
from the previous mode to the new mode.
When switching from SIMV/PS mode with Pressure
Support enabled to Pressure Support mode, the
ΔPPS and Insp Flow settings shall automatically be
transferred from SIMV/PS to Pressure Support.
When switching from SIMV/PS mode to Pressure
Support mode, the Trigger and PEEP settings shall
automatically be transferred from SIMV/PS to Pres-
sure Support.
