Assembly
Checklist
Use the following checklist during the assembly
procedure to make sure all required components
are installed.
Secure swivel arm for breathing system (left
or right side)
Install the compact breathing system
“COSY”
– mount COSY to swivel arm
– connect fresh gas hose
– connect ventilator hose or moisture
reduction kit (optional)
– connect muffler to waste gas port of
COSY
Fill and install the absorber or install the
optional Drägersorb CLIC Adapter
Install the breathing bag extension arm to
breathing system (optional)
Install the flow sensor
Connect the flow sensor cable
Install the O2 capsule in O2 sensor housing
Install and connect the O2 sensor
Connect the bypass and PEEP/PMAX hoses
Connect the pressure sensor hose
Connect pipeline supply of N2O, AIR and O2
Connect reserve gas cylinders for N2O, AIR
and O2
Install and connect the scavenger system
(optional)
– mount the holster to the channel profile
– install the AGS scavenger or the passive
scavenger
– connect hoses
Install and connect the suction system
(optional)
– mount the bracket for the suction bottle
assembly to the channel profile
– install suction bottle system
– install regulator bracket to channel pro-
file
– install and connect suction regulator
(ejector or vacuum)
Install the vaporizers
Connect the breathing hoses
Install sample gas return hose (optional)
Connect AC power
– connect auxiliary devices
– connect Fabius MRI to mains power
