Connecting the Passive Scavenger*
The passive scavenger system is used only with
non-recirculating exhaust systems. It is not meant
to be used with vacuum disposal systems.
z Install the passive scavenger on the machine by
sliding its bracket onto the two shoulder screws
located on the scavenger mounting bracket on
the side of the machine.
1 Connect one end of the transfer hose to the side
fitting on the scavenger.
z Connect the other end of the transfer hose to
the waste gas port located on the underside of
the breathing system.
2 Connect the waste gas hose to the bottom con-
nection on the scavenger.
z Connect the other end of the hose to the hospi-
tal waste gas disposal system.

system, refer to separate Instructions for Use.

NOTE
The scavenger hoses must not be pinched,
kinked, or blocked in any manner.
NOTE
Remove the socket from the scavenger hose
before connecting.
