Communication Port
2 The Fabius MRI has one port on the back. It is
labeled as COM 1.
The use of COM1 for MEDIBUS communica-
tion with an external device in the MRI envi-
ronment has to be certified by Dräger.
WARNING
A test for leakage current must be performed
by qualified engineering personnel before use
if the Fabius MRI is interfaced with other
equipment.
WARNING
Only the combinations approved by Dräger,
with monitoring and the correspondingly
defined assembly parts, may be used. Other-
wise the correct functioning of the device
maybe compromised.
