Operation
1 Press and confirm the »Standby« key.
Monitoring and alarms are turned off and the venti-
lator stops.
z Turn vaporizers off by turning the handwheel to
»0« until the button engages.
z Turn off fresh gas flow.
z Close the cylinder valves.
z Remove the O
2 sensor from the inspiratory
valve and leave it exposed to air. This precau-
tion prolongs the service life of the sensor.
2 Switch off system power using the switch on the
back of the machine, and disconnect the power
plug.
z Disconnect the scavenger hoses.
