5. Push the crosshead (1) downwards.

Important

The upper balls (5) pop out.

Cover the needle bar linkage with a piece of fabric.

6. Take out the retaining rings (6) using a pair of tweezers.

7. Remove the needle bars from the needle bar linkage.
