7.10.9 Alarm relay
The functional method of the alarm output and the response of the pump on an alarm can
be defined here. The alarm relay can be used to indicate when the pump stops, i.e. when
it is switched of
f unintentionally via the display button. This function can be used to
indicate the operational readiness of the pump to a remote monitoring unit.
The external alarm input is connected to

terminal 1, terminal 2 and terminal 3 as shown below.
The following should be noted here:
n V
oltage-free contact (relay)
n max. external voltage: 230 V, AC/DC, max. 3 A.
n Reserve signal: Contact closed / opened approx. 500 ms

3. Using the scrollbar on the right side of the screen, scroll to the [Alarm relay] .
4. [Select Alarm relay] .

5. If required, select the selection field ‘Deactivated in the event of an alarm
’ .
(in the event of an alarm, the alarm output is “open”)

The selection field ‘Deactivated in the event of an alarm’ is marked ü.

[ Click Next] to save the setting.

Screen switches to the query ‘Display pump stop
’.
7. If required, select the selection field ‘Display pump stop
’ .
ð
The selection field ‘Deactivated in the event of an alarm’ is marked ü.

Press the button.
ð
The setting is saved, and the screen switches back to the configuration overview
.

By pressing the button, you can return to the [main menu].
10.
By pressing the button, you can return to the [operating display].
