Step three: Set the metering rate/capacity in litres
The following screens show example displays for a pump with capacity of
1
1 l/h. Specifications and information shown will differ for other pump sizes.
Fig. 35: Set the metering rate/capacity in litres
1. In the [Operating display] press the displayed ‘capacity in litres
’.
To access the setting, press and hold the ‘capacity in litres’ shown on
the display
, for around 3 seconds.
ð
The screen switches to the screen for setting the ‘capacity in litres

7.9.3 Operating mode [Pulse]
In Pulse mode, the metering quantity of the pump is determined by an incoming pulse rate
from a connected peripheral device (e.g. water meter).
Pulse memory:
If the incoming pulse rate is higher than the max. pulse rate that can be processed by the
pump, it is possible to store the unprocessed pulses.
The stored pulses are processed after no more external pulses are received. This means
that the pump continues to run although there is no external running condition. In the
worst case, this can lead to metering into a closed system, resulting in an excessively high
pressure in the system. This must be prevented by appropriate safety measures.
The memory content can be deleted by activating the metering lock or switching of
f the
pump.
