Transport by crane
n The crane and lifting gear must be designed for the weights.
The owner/operator must have this checked regularly by an expert.
n The crane operator must be trained and authorised to operate the crane.
n During transportation, use any lifting eyes on the transport unit where available, and
observe the transport instructions.
n Observing the suspension points, attach the transport unit to the crane and transport it
with the appropriate lifting gear (e.g. crossbeam, belt, multiple-point suspension gear
,
ropes).
n Do not walk under suspended loads!

Risk of injury due to falling or tilting packages!
Packages can have an off-centre centre of gravity

If fasten incorrectly, the package may tip and fall.
This can result in serious injuries.
– Observe markings and information on the packages.
– Fasten the hook when transporting with the crane so that it is above the
package's centre of gravity.
– Lift the package carefully and see whether it tilts.
If necessary, change the end stop.
