The following points must be checked and/or followed at start-up:
n Wall structure must be strong enough for mounting
n Flush out the fresh-water line well before connecting the system.
n Leak-tightness of all components and hose connections.
If necessary
, tighten the screw connections accordingly.
n Function of the control unit and all components.
n There must be a functioning water backflow preventer.
n Check that the splash guard curtain has been installed correctly.
The equipment must not be operated if the splash guard curtain has not been
assembled.
n Check that the leak float is functioning properly (move the float by hand).
n Accessibility of the emergency stop switch.
If the PLC control is not mounted directly next to the unit, an external emergency stop
switch must be mounted on the rack.
n Correct assignment of products, machines, flushing and pilot valves to the diaphragm
valve blocks, assignment of the electrical wiring to the control unit and valves.
CAUTION!
The emergency stop switch must be accessible; do not place supply containers
or similar in front of it!
