12.2 Behaviour in case of a fault
Procedure:
1. Switch the system off immediately
.
2. Secure the system from being switched back on.
3. Rectify the error without delay.
In some cases, repair or parts replacement is required.

Once the fault has been rectified, the system can be put back into operation.

12.3 Error diagnostics and troubleshooting (general)
The table below describes possible operating errors and error causes as well as
measures on troubleshooting. If an error occurs that is not described below, or if it cannot
be attributed to the causes given below

Tighten the armatures or replace the
seals as required

Tighten screws or replace diaphragm as
necessary
Unit is running, but is not performing any
metering (mechanical problems)
Gas accumulation in the
pump head
Vent the pump head
No medium connected
Connect the medium
Pump valve blocked
Flush the pump head using the suction
tube as well as remove and clean the
valves or replace if necessary
Manual diaphragm valve fully
or partially closed
Open manual diaphragm valve fully
Metering point not ready for
operation
Set the metering point to operational
readiness mode or repair as necessary
Metering point back-pressure
too high
Check the metering point using the
metering point specifications
Suction tube leaking
Check suction tube and seal or replace
leaking part
Diaphragm valve in the
suction tube closed
Open the diaphragm valve in the suction
tube fully
Unit is running but is not performing any
