10.2 Perform regular visual checks
1. Check that the splash guard cover is correctly seated and intact.
2. Check the accessibility of the emergency stop function
(MyControl or unit attached separately to ULTRAX Compact).
The switch must be easily accessible by hand; no supply containers, etc.,
must be located in front of it.
3. Checking the functionality of the emergency stop device.
4. Checking the suction and pressure tubes for leak-free connection.
5. Checking the suction and pressure valves for dirt and leak-tightness.
6. Checking the product discharge point on the pump head (visual check for diaphragm
ruptures).
If any product leaks are observed, exchange the pump in question or
replace the diaphragm.
7. Check the leak switch to ensure that the float can move freely and that it is
functioning correctly
.
8. Check the overflow tray for traces of product and, if necessary, rectify the cause of
the product leak.
DANGER!
If the product escapes uncontrolled, there may be a risk of slipping.
10.3 Maintenance of metering pump EMP III E00, E10
