7.8.2 Block expansion, 2-way: Product side
Illustration Assembly steps
n Remove grommet.
n Clean the expansion block connection piece and locating hole of the
existing block and check for damage (replace if necessary).
n Place the expansion block on top and fasten with the fastening clip.
n Re-attach the screw connection.
n Fix the expansion unit in place with washers and screws.
n Create a hose and pipe connection. Attach new pneumatic
connections to corresponding servo valve connections in the terminal
box.
n Test functionality and leak-tightness.
7.8.3 Block expansion, 2-way: Machine side
Illustration Assembly steps
n Remove the plug.
n Clean the expansion block connection piece and locating hole of the
existing block and check for damage (replace if necessary).
n Place the expansion block on top and fasten with the fastening clip.
n Reinsert the plug.
n Fix the expansion unit in place with washers and screws.
n Create a hose and pipe connection.
Attach new pneumatic connections to corresponding servo valve
connections in the terminal box.
n Test functionality and leak-tightness.
n Loosen the fixing screws (no. 1) from the rinsing valve.
n Loosen the fixing screw (no. 2).
