11.2 Optional equipment ULTRAX Compact
Water connector / backflow preventer
DANGER!
The device does not include a built-in backflow preventer to protect drinking
water against a backflow of chemicals. If the owner/operator has not already
installed a backflow preventer, he/she must do so before commissioning!
The following backflow preventers (BA type) are recommended in accordance with
EN1717:

CAUTION!
The recommended backflow preventer is already fitted with a mud guard.
If a backflow preventer is present at the customer, a check must be performed
for whether a mud guard is also present, and one must be fitted if necessary.
Prior to start-up, it must be ensured that a backflow preventer and mud guard
are installed ahead of the water connection on the metering unit.
We recommend the following mud guard:

CAUTION!
The pump rack does not have a shut-off cock on the water intake side. When
connecting to the water supply
, a water shut-off tap must be installed if this is
not provided by the customer.
