3.2.4 Transport of pallets with a forklift or truck
Transport units mounted on pallets can be transported with a forklift/lift truck under
the following conditions:
n The forklift/lift truck must be designed to support the weight of the transport units. The
operator must have the equipment checked regularly by an expert.
n The truck driver must have permission to drive industrial trucks with a driver's seat or
driver's platform in line with local regulations.
n The transport unit must be securely fastened to the pallet.

CAUTION!
Secure the load!
To avoid slipping, the transport unit must be firmly attached to the forklift with a
transport strap (see item b).

ransport on a pallet
1. Drive the forklift truck with the forks between or under the beams of the palett.
2. Push the forks in so far that they stand out on the opposite side.
3. Make sure that the pallet does not tip in case of an off-centre centre of gravity
.
4. Lift the pallet with transport unit and transport the system.

The transport unit may topple during transport!
Only transport the machine on the pallet supplied.
During transport, note the weight of the transport unit

Observe the centre of gravity. If necessary, secure the transport unit prior to
transport with appropriate lifting gear or straps.
3.2.5 Transport on a pallet
1. Drive the forklift truck with the forks between or under the beams of the palett.
