DANGER!
Personal protective equipment (PPE) is used to protect personnel.
The personnel who set up and install the pump must use suitable PPE to
protect against injury.
DANGER!
– Always use the prescribed PPE for maintenance work.
Observe the product data sheet of the dosing chemical used.
– Always flush the dosing head and relieve the pressure line.
NOTICE!
Damage caused by using incorrect tools!
Damage may occur as a result of using incorrect tools during assembly,
maintenance or troubleshooting. Only use the correct tools.
Fault description Cause Remedy
OGM is not delivering pulses Direction of flow is incorrect
Install OGM according to indicated flow
direction
Wired incorrectly
Connect to PLC in accordance with the
specifications
Polarity of PLC input not compliant
Reprogram the OGM (PNP < > NPN)
Oval gear wheels blocked by foreign
matter
Clean oval gear wheels; connect fine-mesh
filter upstream, if necessary
Oval gear wheels blocked by
expansion of parts due to chemical
incompatibility
Replace affected parts (or entire OGM, if
necessary) - check chemical compatibility
BEFORE use
Required bridging in connector missing
(PIN 3-2)
Check in connector whether the bridging
device is present (continuity test).
LED indicator is not working Too little flow - no pulse output
Increase flow rate
Use appropriate size of OGM

Replace the OGM cover
