CAUTION!
Connection and maintenance work on the oval gear meter may only be carried
out by authorised experts.
Always rinse the oval gear meter, depressurise the pressure tube and wear
protective clothing
(safety goggles, safety gloves and apron) before any
maintenance and repair work and before metering hazardous media.
When carrying out cleaning, observe the product data sheet for the metering
medium in order to prevent chemical reactions that might occur when cleaning
components with water or non-compatible chemicals.
When you open the oval gear meter, make sure that the system is
depressurised and the upstream metering pump is not in operation.

10.5.1 Disassembling the oval gear meter
1. Unscrew the 4 screws on the oval gear meter (no. 1).
2. Remove the cover (no. 2).
3. Remove the two oval gear meters (no. 4 + no. 5) and clean or replace.
We recommend that you replace the O-ring seal (no. 3) between the cover and
housing.
