4.2.39.2 Installation
1. Open the Duplex Unit.
2. Reinstall the Left Upper Cover Assembly so the hin
g
e openin

the Cover arms line up with the hin
g
e holes in the printer frame.
3. Slide the Rear Shaft Hin
g
e into the hin
g
e openin
g
in the Rear Cover
arm, until the latch locks the Hin
g
e onto the shaft.
4. Slide the Front Shaft Hin
g
e into the hin
g
e openin
g
in the Front
Cover arm, until the latch locks the Hin
g
e onto the shaft.
5. Use two screws to secure the two Cover Supports to the frame.
6. Reinstall the Rear Cover. (“Rear Cover Assembly” on pa
g
e -140)
7. Open and close the Cover to make sure it opens and latches
correctly.
CAUTION
When the Left Upper Cover is open, the BTR is
exposed. Do not touch the BRT. Grease and dirt on, or
physical damage to the BTR will effect print quality.
