Measuring the distance
Step Action
1 Use the joystick to direct the system towards the target.
2 Press the FCN + SCN buttons to re a single shot.
NOTE: It is not possible to re a shot if the image is frozen or if the IR and/or
TV camera is turned off.
3 The distance to the target is displayed on the monitor. If multiple targets are found, both
the shortest and the longest distance will be displayed. If no target is found, “No target
detected” will be displayed.
4 When “Laser ready (N)” is displayed, a new shot can be red. Repeat from step 1.
NOTE: If a remote computer is used and the system is set to forward accepted results
only (see the
Auto Forward Targets feature, section 7.8), the ENTER button shall be
pressed to approve the result.

Deactivating LRF unit
Step Action
1 Press the C button to deactivate the LRF unit and to exit LRF mode.
