System information
Callout Description
1 The Autoscan point number indicator (1 through 32) shows the locations of any
currently set autoscan points.
2 The FOV brackets indicator shows the image area that will be covered by the next eld-
of-view (FOV). When the next FOV is the widest FOV, no FOV brackets are shown.
3 The Crosshair reticle indicator shows the center of the current eld-of-view. When
autoscan points are being set, the Crosshair reticle shows the location of the point
to be entered.
4 The Image polarity indicator indicates if white or black is set to represent hot.
5 The System date indicator shows the date, in the format dened in the Setup menu,
see section 7.6.1.4.
6 The System time indicator shows the time, in the format dened in the Setup menu;
see section 7.6.1.4.
7 The Digital azimuth indicator provides a numeric readout of the system’s azimuth,
relative to the reference position entered in the Setup – Pan/Tilt dialog box, see section
7.6.1.3.
8 The Digital elevation indicator provides a numeric readout of the system’s elevation.
9 The Analog elevation indicator provides a graphical presentation of the system’s
elevation.
10 The Analog azimuth indicator provides a graphical presentation of the system’s azimuth,
relative to the reference position entered in the Setup – Pan/Tilt dialog box. The indicator
looks like a small clock, with the reference position at 12.
11 The Focus position indicator provides an indication of the focus travel, from near (left)
to distant (right).
12 The Active channel indicator is shown on the screen to indicate which channel –
TV or IR – that is active.
13 The Status text indicator displays status information for various functions, when these
are trigged. See section 7.1.1.
When no other status information is displayed, the
GPS indicator shows the present
position of the system in DMS format (Degree, Minute, Second); °N/S + °W/E. If the
received antenna signal is too weak or if fewer than three satellites are found, the status
text “Searching GPS” is displayed.
14 The FOV indicator provides a numeric readout of the current eld-of-view (FOV).
