7. DISASSEMBLY AND ADJUSTMENT
7.2.6 Adjusting the X Drive Belt Tension
(1) Detach the Y motor cover (See section 7.1.7).
(2) Detach the left rear cover (See section 7.1.4).
(3) After loosening the two M3 binding head screws indicated by the (B) arrows, attach a string around the X
motor and pull the X motor with a 5 kgf push-pull gauge to the point where FX

equals 2.0 kgf - 0.2, then
tighten the screws.
(4) After loosening the two M4 binding head screws indicated by the (C) arrows, push the X motor bracket
with a 10 kgf push-pull gauge to the point where FX

equals 5.0 kgf - 0.5, then tighten the two screws.
