play in the pen block
section?

Do the
guide shaft and its
bearing rattle?
Yes

Check the installation on
the pen block.
Do the
slide shaft and its
bearing rattle?
Yes

Loosen the M2 screw
and turn the offset pin for
adjustment.
Does the
slide arm rattle?
Yes
Does the Y
slider rattle?
Replace the pen block
assembly.
Remove the Y bar and
adjust the Y slider roller
pressure.

Check the M2 setscrew
holding the pen holder
and the thumb screw, and
tighten if necessary.

The X motor is worn out.
Replace it.

necessary.
Check the screw and
pressure roller.
