7. DISASSEMBLY AND ADJUSTMENT
7.5.6 Adjusting the Y Belt Tension
(1) Detach the front Y bar cover (See the section 7.1.67.1.6).
(2) Detach the Y bar (See the section 7.5.1).
(3) Adjust the two M3 binding head screws (D) so that the belt is balanced right and left.
Turn the screws to the right to tighten the belt.
Turn the screws to the left to loosen the belt.
(4) Check the Y slider belt tension.
Slide the pen block to the motor side.

(5) Push down the Y-belt 20 mm from the Y-rail in the center of the Y-belt using a 1 kg push-pull gauge.
The push down force should be from 600 g to 630 g.
(6) Move the Y slider to the top and the bottom, and conrm that the belt is not moving at the X rear idler
pulley.
Check the Y belt is not moving to the right
and the left.

(7) Adjust the belt tensions if the belt is moving to the right and the left at the Y belt idler pulley.
(8) Move the Y slider to the far top.
