7. DISASSEMBLY AND ADJUSTMENT
7.2.8 Adjusting the Rear X Belt Tension
(1) Detach the right rear covers (See section 7.1.3).
(2) Detach the left rear covers (See section 7.1.4).
(3) Adjust the two M3 binding head screws indicated by the (E) arrows so that the belt is balanced right and
left.
* Turn the screws to the right to tighten the belt.
* Turn the screws to the left to loosen the belt.
(4) Check the belt tension. (See section 7.2.9, “Checking the Belt Tension of the Front and Rear X belt”.)
(5) Perform the radiating lines test to check that the belt at the pulley section is balanced right and left.
If not, repeat steps (3) to (5) above so that the belt is balanced.
Check the X rear belt is not moving to
the right and the left.

(6) Adjust the belt tensions if the belt is moving to the right and the left at the X rear idler pulley.
(7) Move the Y bar to the far left.
