9.1.4 Pen UP/DOWN Operations are Abnormal
Be sure to turn off the plotter before performing the following checking procedures.

Is there
play or does it get
stuck?
Use your nger to gently
move the pen holder up
and down.
No

Is the
guide shaft bearing
pressure faulty?
Play in the slide shaft or its
bearing.
Electrical adjustment.
Yes
No
Loosen the M2 set-screw
and adjust the bearing to
eliminate play in the guide
shaft section.
Replace the pen block
assembly.
