(3) Setting of optional functions
To perform communication and control with the computer through the use of
GP-IB of this unit, optional functions must be set.

.Press the
SHIFT
+
STOP
keys in the READY state to display the "optional
function setting window." See Chapter 7.

. Set "START" for the interface command to "

: Set". This will activate the
interface command
:STARt
.

. Change the page, and make settings for the PC interface. When using GP-
IB, select "

: GP-IB."

.When GP-IB is selected, the GP-IB address setting items are displayed in
the lower column. Move the flashing cursor and set the GP-IB address
using the
▼
/
▲
keys.

. Press the
SHIFT
+
STOP
keys to close the "optional function setting
window."
