Using Four Sets of Tuning Constants
Introduction
You can use four sets of tuning constants for single output types and
choose the way they are to be switched. (this does not apply for
Duplex control, which always uses two PID sets).
The sets can be:
n
keyboard selected,
n
automatically switched when a predetermined process variable
value is reached,
n
automatically switched when a predetermined setpoint value is
reached.
Set up Procedure
The following procedure to:
n
select four sets,
n
set the switch-over value,
n
set tuning constant value for each set.

1 Select Control
set up group
Setup key Until you see Control set up group
2 Select PID Sets Function key Enter in the first function prompt of the
Control set up group.
Increment key or
Decrement key
Until you see PID Sets
