Setpoint Ramp
Introduction
When you have configured a Setpoint Ramp, the ramp will occur
between the current local setpoint and a final local setpoint over a
time interval of from 1 to 255 minutes. You can RUN or HOLD the
ramp at any time.
Configuration Check
Make sure
n
SP Program Function is disabled.
n
SP Ramp Function is enabled.
n
A Ramp Time Min in minutes has been configured
n
A final setpoint value (Ramp Final SP) has been configured. See
SP Ramp/Program Set Up Group for more information.
Operation
Running a Setpoint Ramp includes starting, holding, viewing the
ramp, ending the ramp and disabling it. See table below.

Man Auto key “Auto” is displayed under Mode.
2 Set Start

If Hot Start is enabled, Current PV value is used
as the initial ramp setpoint.
If Hot Start is disabled, LSP1 is used as the initial
ramp setpoint. Press Lower Display key, until SP
value is displayed in the lower display.
Lower Display = SP and start SP value
