CAUTION
Recording devices
• When recording diagnostic images, confirm that
the displayed patient ID and patient are matched.
Recording diagnostic images with an incorrect pa-
tient ID may result in incorrect diagnosis. If the error
message is displayed, the power switches of the
peripheral units and the cables between the system
and the peripheral units must be checked. Contact
your service representative.
• Clips (AVI format) recorded in the internal storage
are always irreversibly compressed. Irreversible
compression is eective for decreasing the volume
of an image, but the quality of the image deterio-
rates in comparison with when the image is not
compressed. Use irreversible compression only
when you have assessed that it does not aect di-
agnosis.
• It is also possible to perform a measurement on a
saved image on which another measurement was
made during the examination and to print out the
result. To avoid being confused and misled by the
printed image as it will be viewed later, take ap-
propriate measures, such as keeping a record of or
making a mark on printed images, for ease of iden-
tification. In the case of black-and-white printing,
a measurement or the result of the measurement,
which was already included in a saved image, may
be confused with another measurement, which was
newly made on the saved image, or the result of
another measurement.
CAUTION
Wireless LAN
• Wireless LAN adapter of the system is for indoor
use only. Please remove the wireless LAN adapter
from the system in advance, if the system may be
in the outdoor locations.
• Do not use the wireless LAN adapter in the environ-
ment occurring of magnetic field, electrostatics or
electromagnetic interference, etc. If wireless LAN
connection is cut due to those interferences, use
wired LAN connection.
• When similar wireless LAN adapter exists around
the system, it may occur mutual interference.
Therefore, install the system after inspection of
other wireless LAN to avoid interference.
• For Warnings and Cautions regarding the wireless
LAN adapter, refer to the operation manual of the
wireless LAN adapter.
• Where the strength of the wireless signal is weak,
please move to a place of strong signal or use
wired LAN connection.
• It is recommended to connect the wireless LAN
adapter to the USB connector on the lateral side
of the system. The communication rate may be
reduced depending on the positional relationship
between the wireless LAN adapter and the access
point.
Regarding data transfer in weak wireless signal
connection
• When transferring several les, transfer of the cur-
rent file cannot be interrupted. Wait for the trans-
fer to be completed. After current transferring file
completes data transfer, data transfer can be inter-
rupted.
Regarding operations during start-up
• When the system is starting up, avoid touching the
LCD monitor until the start-up process is complete.
Otherwise, the sensitivity of the touch panel cannot
be adjusted accurately.
• Do not press the optional USB keyboard during
start-up. Otherwise, the system may malfunction.
