2.3 Power ON/OFF

Shutdown function
Pressing the power switch will display the message
asking you to select the desired shutdown type.
List of shutdown conrmation message buttons
Button Functions
[Standby] Puts the system into standby state.
[Shutdown] Shuts down the system.
[Cancel] Cancels the shutdown.
When the security function is enabled, the [Logout]
button is displayed on the shutdown conrmation mes-
sage.
To configure the security function, refer to "User Ac-
count Settings" of the "Operation Manual: Applica-
tions".
IMPORTANT

For longer and continued use of the system, it is
recommended to shut down the system at least
once every three days.
If you use the system when the remaining battery
level is low, do not remove the AC adapter before
shutting down the system. Doing so may cause a
failure of the system.

Power switch > Shutdown conrmation

Executes Standby.
Executes [End Study] instead during examination
and ends the examination.
Saves the current system status in the memory, and
enters the energy-saving mode.
To start up the system in a standby state, press
the power switch, which starts up the system in the
same manner as it does in the normal power-on
state.
IMPORTANT

If the monitor is closed, the standby processing is
executed.
Do not disconnect the battery during the standby
state or leave the system in the standby state for a
long period of time. If the battery runs out, memory
corruption can occur, and quick startup from a
standby condition becomes impossible.
