Malfunction Possible cause Remedy
Rotor not working neatly Raking height set too high Set raking height lower
The working speed is too high. Reduce drive speed. Reference
values 8-10 km/h. In the case of
uneven terrain, high forage
quantities, drive slower if required.
Speed is too low Increase the speed. Standard
value 450 rpm.
Side rotor inclination set
incorrectly
Change side inclination setting
(see chapter on operation entitled
"Side inclination setting of rotor
running gear").
Tine arm(s) crooked Replace tine arms
High level of forage contamination Raking height set too low Set raking height higher
Tine arm(s) bent Replace tine arms
Swath width too large Rear rotor extended too far. Retract rear rotor.
Speed is too low Increase speed
Not possible to adjust rotor to
unevenness in the ground
Tractor's lower suspension arm
set too high or too low
Align frame horizontally (high
steerable pinions about 81 cm)
Float position not active. The functions :
Deactivate adjust working width,
adjust swatch width, adjust
working height or raise/lower
rotor.
Setting of raking height - electrical
not working
Fuse defective
Replace protection in switch box
which is screwed onto frame.
Pivoting arm does not swing into
the transport position.
Front guide wheels set too high or
too low.
Raise or lower the tractor's lower
suspension arm
Parallel guide (optional)
incorrectly positioned.
Move parallel guide
Front guide wheels do not pivot
into the transport position.
Guide wheel is in the incorrect
position (sensor (8) is alive (iron))
Pivot the guide wheel by moving
forwards about 2 metres.
Rotor does not swing back to the
transport position.
Sensor (1) for detecting the
transport position is not alive
(iron).
Re-adjust the sensor on the frame
at the front.
