Create a folder.
Create a folder on your computer.
For example, create a folder with the name "scannerdata" on the desktop.

Configure permission settings.
1 Right-click the "scannerdata" folder and click [Share] and [Advanced sharing]. Click the [Advanced Sharing]
button.
2 Select the [Share this folder] checkbox and click the [Permissions] button.
3 Make a note of the Share name.
