The following explains each of the display’s components:
In this case it shows 20.12 mili-g
acceleration.
Read out at cursor
- This is the linear units level at the cur-
sor.
NOTE: The units level is displayed in engineering exponen-
tial notation.
Linear Units
- This is the unit entered by the user in the
menu for “Linear Units”. In this particular case we have
entered
“g”
for acceleration.
Frequency shown by cursor
- This is the frequency as
shown by the cursor.
NOTE: The linear units level is displayed in engineering exponen-
tial notation. This notation expresses the exponent with a single
character: “n” for nano ( ), “ ” for micro ( ), “m” for
mili ( ), a space for no exponent, “k” for kilo ( ), “M” for
mega ( ) and “G” for giga
().
