10.2.4 Selecting the trigger condition
The trigger condition serves to define the starting time of recording in the 8400 HighLine. The
oscilloscope provides various trigger conditions by means of which recording of the measured
values can be controlled.
 If the Last settings tab is in the foreground, click the Settings tab to show the input fields
for configuring the trigger condition. The Settings tab contains the button which serves
to import settings from a loaded oscillogram.

Variable Selection of an application variable as signal source
Channel The oscilloscope triggers on a channel configured in the channel list.
