4.5 Energy saving mode
This function extension is available from version 17.00.00 onwards!
In energy saving mode, the energy demand of the inverter can be adapted to the most diverse
environments and applications.
Via C1704
, various functions can be utilised in a user-defined fashion, bringing the energy
consumption of the inverter down to a minimum value:
• inhibiting the power output stages (controller inhibit)
• entering the energy saving mode using quick stop
• switching off the LEDs
• switching off all outputs
If the use of the energy saving mode is not desired, C1704
provides the possibility of inhibiting this
operating status.
The functions for the energy saving mode provide the basis for implementing the PROFIenergy
PROFINET profile.
