8.2.2.3 Status bit "bReadyToOperate"
This function extension is available from version 16.00.00!
The LS_MotionControlKernel with status bit 19 in the status word 2 (wMotionState2) provides the
signalling for the readiness to process the setpoint signals or setpoint commands. The state of bit
bReadyToOperate provides TRUE if, for instance, a defined speed setpoint or a command (e.g.
"manual jog positive") can be directly processed by the LS_MotionControlKernel.
The status of this bit depends on three factors:
Operating mode of the MotionControlKernel
bReadyToOperate = FALSE if operating mode Standby or Stop
Synchronisation status
bReadyToOperate = FALSE if LS_MotionControlKernel executes a synchronisation process in
the operating modes Speed follower or Position follower.
The figure shows the logical relationship:
[8-3] Creation of the status bit bReadyToOperate
Speed follower: Synchronisation active
Position follower: Synchronisation active
