12.4 Connecting/disconnecting the hand-held control

Connect the hand-held control
• Open the cap (2) and remove the bridging
plug (3) from the socket (1).
• Insert the plug (5) into the socket (1) and
secure it with the cap (2).
• After about 20 seconds, the lamps (4) light
up – the ignition is now switched on.
If the lamp (4) does not light up or if it flashes,
there is a malfunction;

Disconnecting the hand-held control
• Open the cap (2).
• Remove the plug (5) from the socket (1) – the
lamps (4) will go out.
• Insert the bridging plug (3) into the
socket (1) and secure it with the cap (2).
The ignition is switched off, unless it is
switched on at an ignition lock.

Danger due to unauthorised use
Always stow the hand-held control in the driver's cab or in the crane cab
before you leave the crane, and lock the doors.
This way you can prevent unauthorised persons starting the engine.
