7 Visual Transient Elastography
Elasto Image
Elasto image reflects the property that shear wave transmission changes with time and depth. The
slope of the dotted line reflects the transmission speed of the shear wave. The higher the speed is,
the harder the tissue is.
The Calculation and Display of Elastography and Liver Acoustic Attenuation
The calculation results of hepatic fibrosis and liver steatosis analysis (LiSA) are displayed and
updated in the real time according to the measured valid observation value.
LiSA is an option.

• Interquartile Range (IQR): indicates data extent of valid observation values ranging from 25%
before the median to 25% after the median.
IQR = Q3-Q1.
• IQR/Med (similar to variable coefficient): used to compare the variation degrees of several
groups of observation value which differ largely in mean value or differ in units.
Success Rate Calculation and Display
• Valid: the total number of valid results of current exam.
• Total: the total number of acquired results of current exam.
