Measuring ICP Invasive Blood Pressure (IBP)
11 - 8 V Series Operating Instructions
11.4 Measuring ICP
The VPS module can interface with the Camino Advanced Monitor CAM01 in Adult, Pediatric and
Neonatal patients. The Camino measures intracranial pressure (ICP), intracranial temperature (ICT)
and calculates cerebral perfusion pressure (CePP). This section discusses setting up the Camino
device to measure ICP. Refer to the Camino Advanced Monitoring CAM01 Operating Manual for
parameter specification and setup of the Camino monitor.
NOTE: The ICP alarm limits and alarm responses are configured at the V 12/V
21 when using a Camino device.
11.4.1 Connecting to the Camino Device
One Camino supplied bedside monitor cable (as shown in FIGURE 11-5) and one Camino adapter kit
(as shown in FIGURE 11-6) are needed to obtain an ICP measurement.
