18.2.3 Configuring the CO Parameter
1. Select the CO digital tile.
2. Select the Setup tab (as shown in FIGURE 18-3).
NOTE: The current parameter setting displays in bold to the right of each
button.

3. Select the buttons described in TABLE 18-1 to configure the tab.

Height Opens the digital keypad to enter the
patient’s height.

Weight Opens the digital keypad to enter the
patient’s weight.

NOTE: Enter the patient’s height and weight to calculate the Cardiac
Index (CI). The cardiac index cannot be calculated without it.
CO Source Configures the CO source. Auto, Module, and External
NOTE: In Auto Start mode, if both a CO module is present and an
external CO device, the external CO device takes priority over
the CO module.
