9.9 12 Lead Interpretation
The V 12/V 21 supports the 12 Lead Interpretation using the University of Glasgow 12-Lead ECG
algorithm. All results of the 12 Lead interpretation are collected in a report and sent directly to the
printer.
This section describes 12 Lead interpretation in detail, including how to configure the Patient tab,
the Setup tab, and the Advanced tab for 12 Lead, and 12 Lead printing report.
Patient Sizes
Intended patient types: Adult, Pediatric, Neonate.
9.9.1 12 Lead Dialog
The 12 Lead dialog (as shown in FIGURE 9-26) contains a Patient tab, a Setup tab, and an Advanced
tab. A description of each tab follows.
9.9.1.1 Navigating to the 12 Lead Interpretation Dialog
1. Select the Procedures tab from the Navigation Area.
2. Select the 12 Lead button.
NOTE: The 12 Lead button is only available in the Procedures tab when 12
Lead is selected from the ECG Cable Type button on the ECG Setup tab.
OR
1. Select the Setup tab from the Navigation Area.
2. Select the Parameters button.
3. Select the 12 Lead button.
The 12 Lead dialog displays (as shown in FIGURE 9-26).
