<Parameter> Description
<Socket_ID> 1,2,3,4 - Identification Number of Socket.
<Alert_ID> Alert ID. All alerts are described in Table 3-280.
Table 3-280: +MIPSSL Alerts
Alert ID Alert Name Description
1. SSL_BAD_RECORD_MAC Returned if a record is received with an incorrect
MAC. This alert is fatal.
2. SSL_DECRYPTION_FAILED Cipher text decrypted in an invalid way: either it
wasn't an even multiple of the block length or its
padding values, when checked, were not correct.
This alert is fatal.
3. SSL_UNEXPECTED_MESSAGE An inappropriate message was received. This
alert should never be observed in
communication between proper
implementations. This alert is fatal.
4. SSL_ILLEGAL_PARAMETER A field in the handshake was out of range or
inconsistent with other fields. This alert is fatal.
5. SSL_EXPORT_RESTRICTION A negotiation not in compliance with export
restrictions was detected; for example,
attempting to transfer a 1024 bit ephemeral RSA
key for the RSA_EXPORT handshake method.
This alert is fatal.
6. SSL_UNSUPPORTED_PROTOCOL_
VERSION
The protocol version the client has attempted to
negotiate is recognized, but not supported. (For
example, old protocol versions might be avoided
for security reasons). This alert is fatal.
7. SSL_INSUFFICIENT_SECURITY The server requires ciphers more secure than
those supported by the client. This alert is fatal.
8. SSL_HANDSHAKE_FAILURE Indicates that the sender was unable to negotiate
an acceptable set of security parameters given
the options available. This alert is fatal.
9. SSL_BAD_CERTIFICATE_STATUS_
RESPONSE
Indicates receiving an invalid certificate status
response. This alert is fatal.
10. SSL_BAD_CERTIFICATE A certificate was corrupt, contained signatures
that did not verify correctly, etc.
11. SSL_UNSUPPORTED_CERTIFICATE A certificate was of an unsupported type
(unsupported signature algorithm, public key
type, etc.).
