8.18.5.2 Topology with flexible master/client
Every device records the status of the circuit breakers via digital inputs. The
device with the lowest CAN bus address operates as the topology master.
The Topology master event message is active on the topology master. The
topology master reports which devices take part in parallel operation to the
connected devices. The devices compare self-determined topology informa-
tion to the topology information received over CAN bus. If the topology infor-
mation differs, the devices issue a Internal topology deviation event mes-
sage.
If a topology master is switched off (e.g. if a transformer is disconnected
from the grid for maintenance work), the topology client with the next highest
CAN bus address takes over the function of the topology master.
Note that the Topology master and Internal topology deviation events are
not output over the control system or digital output by default. If you would
like to use this function, you have to link the event messages to a data point
or digital output. Note the "Linking signals and events" [►Section 8.9, Page
127] section.

You have to set the following parameters for the topology with flexible mas-
ter/client function.
