This command resets the default administrative mode of OSPF in the router (active).

This command sets the administrative mode of RIP in the router to inactive.

distance ospf
This command sets the route preference value of OSPF in the router. Lower route preference
values are preferred when determining the best route. The type of OSPF can be intra, inter, type-1,
or type-2. The OSPF specification (RFC 2328) requires that preferences must be given to the
routes learned via OSPF in the following order: intra < inter < type-1 < type-2.
